Busy Year for AHCA

Arkansas Community Horse Shows Produce National Winner

Cindy Davis of Tull, AR, and her 8-year-old gelding Gallant Move placed first in the US in the Arabian Horse Association’s (AHA) 2007 Arabian Community Show (ACS) Walk-Jog/Trot competition.  Cindy and “Gally” earned their points at the ACSs sponsored in 2007 by the Arabian Horse Community Association (AHCA).

In addition to their ACS wins, the “dynamic duo” is also qualified for AHA regional competition in side saddle and western pleasure, as well as for AHA nationals in AATR western pleasure.  Cindy is president of the AHCA this year, and Gallant Move was bred by AHCA membership chairperson, Nancye McCowan of Ridgeland, MS.

The AHCA sponsored 4 Arkansas Community Horse Shows in 2007 and shared the profits with
  ● Give Me A Chance Equine Rescue in Amity, AR
  ● Hearts & Hooves Therapeutic Riding Center in Sherwood, AR
  ● Blaze’s Tribute Equine Rescue in Jones, OK
  ● Toy Closet in the Oncology Unit at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock
  ● Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure.

The next AHCA-sponsored show is October 4 in Vilonia, AR.  Class lists, entry blanks, directions, and other information for exhibitors and sponsors can be found by clicking on the "shows and forms" link on the upper left side of this page.
